Cave No.2 (Han Quan Dong) A.D. 471-494
The words of “landscape has clear sound” and “the deep of the cloud” are inscribed on the top and western side of hamming window outside wall of the cave. Three levels square column in the center of the cave, the eaves tile, eave-rafter, bracket and other imitated wooden structures are carved on the column, the octagonal pillars carved in hollow relief at four corners on the upper part. The distribution of four walls is leveled and in subsection, on the top, carved a row of niches with celestial musicians, and sawtooth lines droop curtains, below are rows of meditating Buddhas, and then large niches, long rolls of story carving in relief, donators are arranged on the bottom. The primary image is sitting Sakyamuni on north wall, but seriously weathering. At the bottom of east wall carved a plot “Arrow shoots iron drum” which from the story of Duddha’s life. The spring effuses from the ground of the cave, so named “Han Quan Dong” in the past.
